CCGS Research Policy and Fees
Request for General Genealogical Research
If you would like CCGS to perform research for you, a research volunteer will examine the Society’s extensive holdings. We do not research at other repositories. You must complete the research form we have provided indicating exactly what information you need, and include a fee for the initial hour of research. The fee is $20 for members of the Carroll County Genealogical Society and $25 for non-members. If no information can be found, the fee is not refundable. Each additional hour will be the same price but the volunteer will consult with you before proceeding beyond the first hour. The length of time required to complete a request depends upon many factors, but the volunteer will remain in contact with you. Results will be emailed to you in PDF format.
