CCGS Research Policy and Fees
Request for General Genealogical Research
If you would like CCGS to perform research for you, a research volunteer will examine the Society’s extensive holdings.
We do not research at other repositories.
Please complete the
research form indicating exactly what information you need and include a fee for the initial hour of research.
Members of CCGS will received their first hour of research for free (annually). Subsequent hours are available for $20/hour for members of the Carroll County Genealogical Society. Non-members research fee is $25. If no information can be found, the fee is not refundable. The volunteer will consult with you before proceeding beyond the first hour. The length of time required to complete a request depends upon many factors, and the volunteer will remain in contact with you. Results will most likely be emailed to you in PDF format.
